Korean Thanksgiving Special for International Students on Oct.6th

Hello,KISSA member

How are you? Hope you had a great start this semester.
Since the Chuseok (the Korean Thanksgicing Day) is coming, KISSA wishes all  our members to enjoy the holiday in Korea.
Here, we inform you  about a Chuseok holiday program which you might be interested in.

The Korean Buddhist Cheontae Order, together with the Global Culture Exchange Forum is organising a day for traditional korean games on the occassion of Chuseok, Oct.6th. KISSA cordially invites international students in Korea to take part and spend a memorable thansgiving day.

The program begins with an opening ceremony, followed by preliminary round of traditional games, special lunch of bibimbab, cultural performances from Kazkhstan, Uzbekistan and Kirgyzstan artists which is followed by final round of traditional games and closing ceremony. Trophies and certificates will be provided to winners in each category.
We are taking 29 applications(15 males -14 females) from students who want to participate in the games. An individual can apply for one event only. Those who are not interested in the games are also welcome to attend and enjoy the program.

  • Games: Jegichagi, Yut, Seesaw, Wrestling and Korean style Cockfighting
